No, Neil Peart (Drummer and Lyricist)lost his wife to cancer and his 19 year old daughter in a car crash in the space of a few months...it took a while for him to recover..during this time the other 2 Geddy and Alex pursued solo projects fully endorsed by Neil...now they back Better than ever...(Flops may disagree :) )
