New Programs installed popup info

Hi
I wonder if anyone can tell me how to disable the
automatic popup information sign that says new programs
installed. I know what programs I have installed and it
is a bit of a pain everytime it pops up. Also the new
program has an orange highlite on, is there anyway of
getting rid of this aswell.

Right click start and select properties|customize|advanced tab. Uncheck
'highlight newly installed programs'.
