Recently (sometime within the past week) the microsoft windows update was
performed.
There was some update to the .net framework.
In its regularly scheduled run, Norton found a program integrity problem.
The error is that there are 10 programs in
c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727 that can't run because they
can't find msvcr80.dll
so, I do a search in windows explorer
that file turns up in a directory called
c:\windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.v80.crt... (long series of letters & numbers
follow)
what gives?
should I roll back the update?
