New OS 98 to XP has left my modem inoperative?

I recently installed XP Pro, however my Aztech MDP 3858V-E
Data Fax Modem does not work. A Generic 56K modem has
appeared(?), however, either way I cannot connect to my
ISP. Can anyone please help. Many Thanks, John.
 
Need to see if you can find an XP Driver, and if not buy a new one. They
are dirt cheap, especially when on sale.
