New Newsgroups Alert?

Is it possible to stop the Message Box the says "There are new newsgroups,
do you want to view them?" from coming up almost every time I use the
Microsoft news server?

Hi,

Look under Tools then Options and uncheck "Notify me if there are any new
newsgroups"

You can view them once, then it will shut up for a while.
