Windows XP
I installed a new motherboard (Asus with AMD dual core CPU) and cannot
reboot windows. At first I saw a blue screen flash a few seconds in the the
boot process. No save mode, nothing worked.
I then tried a windows repair installation. Now Windows starts to boot. I
can see the initial boot screen with the progress bar, but then it crashes
again with a short flash of BSOD , too short to read it, and then reboots.
I goes into a loop of reboots.
I can log into the recovery console, but don't know what to do there at the
command prompt
I can load into save mode, but there I receive a message box, telling me
that Windows cannot run setup in safe mode and that it will reboot.
I am stuck.
Anyone has ideas??
