First, make sure your previous keyboard works or check another keyboard, if
it works, then the problem is likely the keyboard and not an XP issue.
Since its new, you first call the keyboard manufacturer's tech support, also
be sure you've checked their website for the latest drivers for the
keyboard. If the above doesn't resolve the issue, you take the keyboard
back to where you purchased it and exchange it for another keyboard.
