New Joeware tool - oldcmp - Reports on and Cleans up old machine accounts in Active Directory

Hello everyone.

I have finally released oldcmp to the general public. It is a tool used for
cleaning up Active Directory domains by reporting on and disabling/deleting
old machine accounts. It does most of its work based on the password age of
the computers. It is extremely flexible and can actually be used for simple
computer account reporting as well as cleanup.

The output by default is HTML, however it will do DHTML (I.E. Only) which
allows you to sort on columns and pick which columns to display. It will
also do CSV and you can pick the delimiter you want.

The beta testers went nuts for this tool and it has cleaned up thousands of
old machine accounts for people already in this month alone.

I expect this to quickly become one of the most favorite tools of the
joeware suite.

Add it to your collection of tools you just love to run.)

Obviously you can get this tool where you get all of the other joeware
tools... At www.joeware.net on the free win32 tools page...

Have fun!

Cool. I am going to submit this for consideration to our networking group. I
won't be trying it myself because of the disclaimers, even though I am
pretty confident that it would cause no problems if FORREAL were not
enabled.

Nod, the forreal is a good safety because if it isn't selected the code path
that makes mods is completely skipped. An additional safety measure outside
of all of the ones I put in is to run in the context of a normal userid. If
the ID doesn't have permissions to make changes, nothing my code can do
about it. Then even if you use forreal you get access denied messages for
the results.
