New install, new pc(new HD), Vista Ultimate (OEM)

I am installing Vista Ultimate(OEM) in a newly built system with new HD. In
the past(95,98,XP) I would boot with a floppy, partition,activate and
format,then install. Are the contents of FDISK on the DVD, or must I first
do this independently. I don't have the OS in my possession yet, just
getting ready.

Everything you need to create and format partitions is on the Vista DVD.

Hi,

It's not fdisk, but yes the tools are there on the disk and can be accessed
during setup.
