The other day I had plenty of browser windows open
simultaneously so they grouped together as one "tab" in
the taskbar. When I selected this tab and right-clicked
I saw the option to "tile windows horizontally" so I
foolishly did so as an experiment. They appeared as six
inch-high windows on the screen, one atop the other. They
were too hard to read this way so I closed all and
considered it a lesson learned.
Now, several days later, any time I open an IE browser
window it is a one-inch tall window at the top of my
screen. It will not open to full screen. If I open
a "new" window (ctrl-N) it will likewise always be this
unusable tiny display.
How can I reset this back to normal?
I tried to "Reset Web Settings" in the Programs tab of
the options screen.
I tried to find any reference to "tile" or "tile
horizontally" or "maximize window" or "full screen" and
there are *no results* in the so-called "knowledge base"
for any of these words or phrases.
Does anyone know how to reset this other than de-install
re-install? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
