MINIMIZED WINDOWS

Don't know if this is the place to post this help request, but no category
really matches.

I am using AOL. Situation: I have several web pages open in different
windows. I minimize one window and it minimizes to a specific place at the
bottom of the browser window. I then minimize another web page window and it
also minimize to the exact same place in the browser window. So, I have
minimized two web page windows, but I only see one minimized window because
the second minimized window is directly below the first window I minimized.
If I left click and move the minimized window that is showing I will see the
other minimized window beneath it. I click it and move it, also. What I
want is for the web page windows when I minimize them to align themselves
next to each other horizontally, not on top of each other. Tile windows
horizontally and unlocking the taskbar has not helped. Thanks for any
assistance.

Hi,

I'm using Windows XP w/ SP2 and Internet Explorer 6. AOL is 7.0.

Thanks,

Right-click on a blank area of Taskbar > Properties > uncheck 'Group similar
taskbar buttons'.

Hi, bear,

Already did not and it does not help. The stacking is in the browser window
(AOL). Seems no one understands why this is happening. Apparently, it is
unusual behavior. Quite annoying because you aren't sure if you have closed
a window or minimized it as it is hidden behind the one on top. One has to
move the one on top to be certain.

Thanks for your assistance.

Then I dunno. Since your problem is in the AOL browser, not IE, I suggest
you post your query to an AOL-sponsored forum or discussion board.

Let us know how you make out, OK?
