I am unable to send in Outlook now, although I can receive email. I don't
think this is a firewall issue, as my firewall goes by ports, and other
email programs are able to send. (Of course I also checked it and it looks
OK--TrendMicro Internet Security).

Probably related to this problem, there's a different icon in the system
tray, one I have never seen before. It is white instead of yellow, with a
small red X superimposed, and the tip "Microsoft Outlook is Offline."

However Outlook sends test messages successfully, from the Test Settings
dialog from Tools:MailAccounts.

How do I get it back online?

OK, I got it searching this forum. Somehow File:WorkOffline got checked.
