New HP Notebook Won't Install RC-1 -- How Do I??

Created DVD with ISO downloaded. HP notebook does not launch ISO as install
DVD nor autoplay the DVD. Sonic DVD burning program starts and reads DVD, but
wants to burn, not install RC-1. What might be my problem?? What should I try
to install from ISO on DVD?? Thanks.

Did you accidentally create a data disc? I would suggest using burncdcc to
burn it for you ( ftp://terabyteunlimited.com/burncdcc.zip ). When you burn
it using burncdcc, it will put it in the right format for you.

Robert --

Not accidently, intentionally, thinking that was what I was making. Using
Sonic DigitalMedia Plus Ver 7. There is a Copy function that I will try.
Thanks toyou and all other responders.

Robert and all who replied "can't just copy ISO" --

I did as you said, burned image of ISO Sonic's "copy disc" module. Took 1/3
time as before and worked perfectly. I have a bootable disc of RC-1.

I too liked VISTA beta 2, but previous notebook, 4-year old, too weak to
handle it. Also, something went awry internally and BestBuy Geeks could not
fix it. So, new one will be used to continue VISTA test. Again, thanks all.
