New here, need some info!

Hi all. I just joined today as I am having...issues with my modem.

I have a ZyXEL prestige 600, linked to a PC and a laptop. Most of the time it works fine, fast and smooth. Sometimes, however, it will not connect to the net on most sites. For example, I can go to Fark.com, but not anything else (eBay or the like). I've done everything I can think of!!

I'm running Wiondows 98 on the PC and Windows XP on the laptop (Acer Aspire 5050). I used to have another modem (Alcatel? Speed Touch) but I have removed it.

It's annoying to have to restar the computer all the time!! Help!

Providing That Your Computer Does'nt Have A Bug Such As A Free Copy Of New.net.dot. It Is Most Likely You Have Driver Conflicts.if So You May Have To Set A Device Manually Or Get Something That Is Compatible With Your Present Configuration. You Are Running Win98. Check If Your Newer Computer Does This On Its Own,without Win98.sometimes Win98 Needs To Be Set Manually.sometimes Updating Your Drivers Can Resolve This.i Like DriverGUIDE.com For Getting Drivers.
