Where do I find the equivalent of Reveal Codes. I do
historical research and share documents so my formatting
must be perfectly clean. Reveal Codes let me do that.

Please tell me that there is an equivalent to Reveal Codes.

You are about to be disappointed. Word has no access to 'reveal codes'
because it does not use codes to format documents. It is a style based
application. The following links may help:

There are a couple of "minor" things you can use for formatting visibility.

1. Click the "Show/Hide" icon on your Standard toolbar, which will show
spaces, paragraph marks, page breaks, etc.

2. Press SHIFT-F1. Your cursor turns to a cursor with a question mark.
When you click your mouse you will get a window showing the formatting of
the area you clicked (Word 2000 or older will be a small window above where
you clicked; Word 2002 or 2003 will be a TaskPane to the right). If you
have the older version all you need to do is to press the ESC key to close
out. If a newer version, you can leave the "Reveal Formatting" taskpane
open as long as you like to view your formatting "codes".
