New email, using network forms

Hi, I've got some users who want to be able to send emails from within
outlook, but pick up forms/templates from a mapped network drive.

All the users have their "user templates in file system" pointing to a
mapped network drive. This appears to be controled through word (tools->
options -> templates location). The problem i've got is that one user's "user
templates in file system" points to their local c:\documents and settings
etc. Word is set correctly, the same as all other users yet i'm unable to get
her to browse and pick a email template/form from off the network. If i hit
browse i am unable to select any network locations, only pyhsical local
drives.

All the users are using office 2000, with outlook 2003.
A New outlook profile has been tried as has reseting normal.dot.

Any one got any clues as to why it won't let me set the setting as per the
rest?

Many thanks

I've done this a while ago and it's done on the Exchange server. In turn, it
will appear a "public" form so that everyone using the server has access to
it. It's basically the same idea as Public Folders.

I know i could use exchange and publish the forms, the problem is that's a
bit too technical for them, they like the ease of use of simply saving the
forms and templates to a shared folder and being able to pick them up from
their.

What's throwing me is that all the other machines work fine, just this one
doens't want to use a network location for it's templates and forms in
outlook?

cheers
