'new' copy of windows on each boot

I saw some software a while ago that would automatically return Windows
to a pre-given state each time it booted up and thought it would be a
good idea for a computer in a childrens home, but I forgot to bookmark
it. Now I cant find it again - searches on Google havent come up with
it, probably because I cant think of a seach phrase that encompasses
it! Can anyone advise on what it was I may have seen, or alternatively
a program description I could use to help find it via a search engine?
 
Hi Mike,

Are you referring to Windows System Restore? Or are you referring to
seeing a Menu each time you boot Windows XP up?
