I just purchased a new Dell and I have a Dell that is 18
months old, how can I transfer all my data from the older
to the newer and then delete everthing from the older and
start over for the grandchildren.

Floppy drive, cd burner, network connection, serial connection, etc. The
easiest way is to take the drive out of the old one and install it as a
slave in the new and copy the data. Also makes it easy to delete the data
from the old one.
