New camera!

i have a new AGFA camera, and was trying to download the pictures onto my computer. I connected the usb cable to both and followed the instructions but nothings coming up, can anyone help? I've tried pushing the cable in furter but it wont go in anywhere

Does the camera appear as a new drive? You should be able to copy the
pictures off
