New Addresses don't appear in 'to' , Cc and Cci

Hello

I recently moved my main Outlook file from the C drive to my D drive to
better protect myself against an accident

It wasn't easy as Outlook seemed to block me copying the main .pst file but
eventually I got there.

The problem is that now, when I put a new contact or mailing list into the
contacts table, it doesn't appear in 'To', Cc' or 'Cci' when I try to send a
message.

It seems as if Outlook is still using an old contact list somewhere in my
computer and new contacts are not accessible when sending out mail (unless I
go into contacts directly and copy the email address)

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Dave Neve

It doesn't, but you must do it correctly.

You didn't transfer the data correctly. The correct way to move the PST is
to close Outlook, move the file, start Outlook again and when it complains
it can't find its folders, simply browse to the new location of the PST,
select it, and click OK. All done.

You have corrupted your mail profile. You should create a new one.
Alternatively, if you have Outlook 2003 or earlier, with Outlook closed,
just remove the Outlook Address Book service from your mail profile using
the Mail applet in control panel, add it back in again, and then when
Outlook starts, it should be OK.

If you copied with OL open you will probably have corrupted both the profile
& the data file & 'blocking' seems to suggest this
Properties of Contact Folder, configure as an address book
