how can i refresh my machines networking setup without
reformating or reinstalling xp from my hard disk? i just
viewed my networking well once when I first configure the
network but after some changes on its configurations, LAN
seems not doing well. So instead of reformating or
reinstalling Xp, is there any other way to start LAN from
1 again.

Go to Device Manager, un-install the network adapter, and re-install
it. Be sure that you have the XP driver program for the adapter
first.
