Networking XP Pro and XP Home

My laptop came with XP Home and my home PC has XP Pro. We have not been able
to get the wireless network to connect. Is this possible to do? The printer
is connected to the PC and it would really be nice to be able to print from
the laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
