Is there a limit to many computers can be networked together using XP Home?

limit of 5 computers connected to a single computer

you can have as many computers as your hub(s) will allow , rule applies to
"shares" per computer

Therefore although I have a hub that accommodates 8 computers, I can still only ever have 5 computers accessing my "server" computer (this is a pier to peir network) at one time, true?

If you want more here is what I would do.
If all your computers do not access each other over the count of 5 say 1 and
2 and 3 talk to each other and 4 and 5 and 6 talk to each other but the two
groups are seperate you fall into the 5 license for them. Now all 6 up to 10
access the server you could up grade to XP Pro. That version of xp is
allowed to have 10 machines access it.
