P Phil Margolies Sep 28, 2003 #2 How do I network windows XP to windows 95? when I try the 95 doesnt recognise XP Click to expand... The most likely cause of this is that you have XP's Internet Connection Firewall enabled (it's enabled by default). Control Panel | Network Connections | Local Area Connection Properties | Advanced | Uncheck "Protect My Computer" You would only need it enabled for a dial-up modem connection. Here is a very good link that will explain it further: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp/ic_firewall.htm

G Gordon Brundell Oct 4, 2003 #4 I am having exactly the same problem - XP will see machines with 98 or above but not 95. The 95 will see all other machines but not XP.
