I have a Windows XP computer and 2 windows 95 computers. I used to have dial
up internet connection and networked my xp computer with one of my W 95
computers with an Ethernet wire and all worked well. I bought and installed
a NETGEAR FA311 network card on the Windows 95 Computer and it connected to
the Ethernet port that came on my W XP computer. I switched to high speed
internet connection with Adelphia cable. I bought a router and want to
connect to the internet by the router and share all files on all computers.
I started making changes to network/device drivers on the W 95 thinking I
could get it to work but have created a mess. My W XP connects fine but my W
95 computer gives the following on boot up:

c:\>c\windows\net start
Invalid value for binding specified

Error loading device driver NDISHLP.SYS

Error 7323: One of more network transport drivers failed to load

c:\>c\windows\lsl.com
Network Link Support Layer v2.14 (941011)

The configuration file used was "c:\WINDOWS\NET.CFG".
Max Boards 4, Max Stacks 4

c:\rem - By Windows 95 Network - c:\windows\net start

When you installed the drivers on the Win9x computer you installed
components you don't need. On the Win9x system, rename AUTOEXEC.BAT to
AUTOEXEC.BAK and rename CONFIG.SYS to CONFIG.OLD, then reboot.
