Dears,

I have a software running on a server computer "XP Professional" and other
computers all having XP Professional, I have changed the session suspession
to be more than an hour. The problem is that: if 4 computers or less are
connected to the server, the session can stay alive for 30 mins and more and
works properly, otherwise, if 5 or more, the session works for 15 mins or
less, after the 15 minutes, it droppes and dies. any help, please???

Cheers!

"The server" - did you carve it out of soap? Is it running AmigaOS? Do you
have more than 32KB of memory installed?

Assuming that it's an otherwise working XP box, it has a limitation of 5
connections if I remember correctly. I assume that the machine itself counts
as one.

Hey Calab,

I have windows XP professional, which means it can hold up to 10 sessions at
a time, do you have an idea how can I find out how many sessions or
connections are connected at a time on the server!

10 connections does not mean 10 other PCs. 10 connections means 10
connections only, be them files, printer or other. One PC can, in
theory, have all ten (10) connections.
