Hi I have two computers one running windows XP and the other running Win 2000 Pro. I have an ethernet card in both computers and want to connect the two using an RJ-45 ethernet cable. This sounds simple enough but every time I try to connect them, the icon on the task bar on both systems indicates no connection between the two systems. Is there anyway I can connect one with the other to share my high speed Internet access between the two? Thanks for all help and suggestions.

If you are doing this without a hub you need to use a "crossover cable"
rather than a standard one. The other way to do this is to buy a hub and
connect each PC to the hub with a standard net cable.
