We have a network w/ 4 computers (all XP PRO) and a DSL
line. Whenever I attempt to share the internet
connection, I am told the ip address needed is in use.
I've attempted to manually set all the addresses on the
network, w/ the dsl being 192.168.0.1, but then cannot
connect to internet. Any ideas? Thanks

You have 1 DSL modem connected to a switch the switch
address is 192.168.0.1, the DSL get's it's address from
the provider, the switch should also be acting as a DHCP
server, and the 4 computers are connected to the switch.
In this case you do not need to share the connection.
YES/NO?
If this is not correct please indicate your connection
configuration.
