Networking component error

Hello. My internet and network connections work fine with one exception:
Vista does not recognize my network connection in the network and sharing
center. It reports my network adapter as "Unknown" and states "No such
interface supported". Anyone know of anything on this issue?

I have exactly the same problem. Also, when I try to turn on network
discovery, and click Apply, I get an error message, "No such interface
supported".
