networking 2 computers as seperate group

Hi,

Excuse the multipost, but found this group after posting to another group.

Hi,

Could someone tell me how I can add 2 computers to a network will
communicate only between each other and that can take advantage of the DSL
connection that exist, and can be accessed by another computer that will be
Administrator of those two?

Example: Two computers connected to an existing network but operating as a
unit (seperate from the other computers in the company). Then I would like
another computer user (administrator) to be able access the above two
computers.

Purpose: These two computers will have a shared printer and software to
track per user printing. I will need to access the data/logs, etc from my
computer in another office.

Thanks,

This sounds like you need to set up a seperate domain for the two computers.
Then provide a password for the user connecting from the main domain to
connect to the other computers. That is what I would do.

Be sure to give the two computers one way trust to the main domain.

Just move them over to their own workgroup. Then you can create an account
on each computer for you to use to connect to a shared folder on each that
holds the logs you need to access.
