Network setup wizard

I have 2 desktop computers connected to a SBC 2wire gateway through phone
wires and 2 wireless laptops connected. I am no longer able to connect to
the internet unless all desktops are on. I have tried to run the Network
setup wizard to change the setting to "other", then "this computer connects
directly to the internet" , but the change does not take effect. Please
advise.

Are you using the ICS? posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help,

I don't think I'm using ICS -- where do i find the ipconfig information you
requested?

Run "ipconfig /all" from a command window, on both computers.
