I have just recently upgraded my Windows XP Home Edition
operating system to Windows XP Professional. However,
after doing so, the system's network setup wizard is
missing the option I need to connect to the Internet.
Currently, I use dial-up connection to connect to the
Internet and I had tried to use the wizard to set up my
connection manually. Can anyone please advise on why
that option is not available (it is actually dimmed) or
where I can download network setup files so that I can
reinstall them again?

Thanks!!

That's a common problem after upgrading.
Problem is you went from Home + SP1 to Pro without SP1.

The usual fix is to re-apply your current service pack ( 1 or 2, whatever
you were at. )

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your advice. Do you know where I can download
Service Pack 1 to install it?
