Network Setup Wizard Question

I'm trying to set up a Home Network with two computers.
One computer is connected to the Internet via a cable
modem/Netgear Wireless Router. I'm trying to connect a
laptop computer so that it can use the Internet
connection and do file/print sharing.

When I run the Network Setup Wizard on the Host computer
and choose the option "This computer connects directly to
the Internet. The other computers on my network connect
to the Internet throught this computer" and then select
my Local Area Connection (the only option besides my old
dial-up connection) I get the message "Cannot Complete
the Network Setup Wizard" (other coputers cannot connect
to the Inernet through this computer)."

I feel that I'm missing something basic here. My
internet connectin is fine. Thanks for any insights

Assuming you have the standard hardware arrangement, in which both
PCs plug into the router's LAN ports and the cable modem plugs
into the router's WAN port, then when you run the Wizard tell it
that you connect to the 'net via a "Residential Gateway". That
"RG" is M$'s phrase for a normal SOHO router setup like yours.
