Network problem

I am new to this group, so I hope I am asking this question in the right
place. I have a PC running XP Pro on a home network. The other PC's on
the network are running NT4.0 and 98SE. The XP machine has suddenly
stopped talking to the others on the network. I can still connect to the
internet through my router, but I cannot access anything else on the
network. Any ideas?

I haven't changed any of my hardware configurations, and I have not
purposely changed any of my networking settings. The software I have
added lately: Camtasia, and two fishing simulator demo programs, It's
Deductable by Intuit and eTrust EZ Armor firewall. I can't think of
anything else that has changed lately. This is a home network and I
don't routinely access files on the other machines from the XP machine,
so I am not exactly when the trouble started. Could have been any time
in the last 60 days.

Check the settings for EZ Armor Firewall, and make sure that it's
configured to allow access on the local area network.

I have a very similar setup with the 3 different operating systems and
the same thing happened to me.

If I remember correct is was a firewall problem. I run Zonealarm and
it sommehow reset itself. Try turning off any firewalls you have.

Also check your router settings. Could be in there.
