network permissions

I have a 3 computer network. Two are XP sp2, one new laptop is Vista (came
with it) My problem is
all three can see each other, and can see the shared file folders on each
other, BUT computer 1 (XP) and computer 2 (Vista)can access the files in the
shared folders. Both can also see the shared folder on computer 3, BUT
cannot access the files in thefolder. Computer 3 can also see and access the
shared folders and files on computer 1 & 2. Whenever 1 & 2 try to access
files in the shared folder on #3, I get a not accessible error, I may not
have permission, and also not enough server storage to process this command.
I've gone into safe mode and gave everyone under the sun permission to do
anything to #3's foler but no luck. Can some one point me somewhere???

Make sure that the acounts/passwords you use on the various
machines exist on each machine, not just on some.
