Hi
I changed the ID of a pc running win98 in a network. I restarted the pc
connecting to win98 with the same name I gave to the pc.
From the other pc in the network I see the new pc with the new name, and
that's ok, but I also see another pc with the old name (of course I cannot
access it).

Why? And how can I remove it?

thanks

Are you seeing this in the browse list? If so then it should disappear
within a few minutes once the browse servers through the network are
updated. It can take 30 minutes to an hour depending on complex your
network is.
