Network Drives Disconnect on 2003 Domain

Hello,

I'm having a problem with some XP users on my network. After a given amont
of time they seem to "disconnect" and show in My Computer as: "Disconnected
Network Drive". When I double-click on any of them, they wake up again and
are fully accessible.
Is there a setting or something I'm missing to keep these drives connected
all the time?

Thanks,
Russ

Russ,

I'd bet the connection timeout period is part of the problem. How many
computers typically would connect to these computers, at any time? How many
computers total? Is this XP Home or Pro?

If you insist on disabling the autodisconnect feature on your servers, this
will do the trick:

Personally, I wouldn't; there is no harm in letting the server terminate
inactive sessions and a great deal of benefit.
