When I open a network drive(H:) it asks what program to use. I can open it
if I right click and choose Open. Problem is when I double click on it ,
then is asks what program I want to open it with. My other network drives
open fine.

A friend found a solution for my issue, maybe it will work for you. In the
registry editor I did a search for a key called MountPoints2. Under that key
are listed mapped resources, and a subkey to the one in question there was a
_Autoplay and a Shell key. After deleting both keys and saving the registry,
it worked as normal.

Hi Intel,

Click Start, Run and type:

reg export "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2" c:\mpoints.txt

Then open c:\mpoints.txt using Notepad, copy the contents and paste it here.

For more information, see my post here:

Windows XP: "Open With" dialog appears when double clicking on mapped network drive in my computer::
