Network Drive not mounting after restart

Hi guys, probably subject says it all. I have a server and mapped network
drive at each workstation. To run the client software, XP Pro should see the
drive "Z" at the server. But its not mounting automatically.
I created a batch file using "net use" command and I put it to startup
folder, still its not mounting the drive. If I double click tha batch file,
it works and mounts, but in the startup folder , seems like not working.
What should I do the see mapped drive every time I restart my XP PRO?
