Network Connections service does not starts

I have XP prof.
Network Connections service does not starts.
It says:

D:\temp>net start Netman
System error 1058 has occurred.

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled
or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

This is service config:

D:\temp>psservice config Netman

Try this

1. Right click My Computer, Manage
2. Goto Services and Applications, Services in the left pane
3. In the right pane, right click on Network Connections Service and select
properties
4. Go to the Log on tab.
5. Make sure it is enabled in each hardware profile.
