network connection

I installed network adapter card on this windows 2000 pc,
but it doesn't connect to the network. All other computers
work in this workgroup. Only this one. I switched linksys
to d-link and entered ip address as with other pc. Still
no connection.

Event view shows many winmangment errors.
Anybody can help?

The details of those "many winmangment errors" are ... ???
 
Does it have another nic card installed (integrated to
the motherboard?) Check My Computer (Right click) Device
Manager for nic cards.
