Network Connection Won't Enable TCP/IP

Hi

I have a simple network of three computers. I installed a Hard Firewall
which I connect to the Internet through.

All was fine and then one day the server would not allow any inward or
outward traffic over the LAN - it would connect to the web but not the other
computers. The other two computers have it visable on the "View other
Computers" in Network Connections but can not access it.

The server does not "see" any of the other computers on the "View otrher
Computers"

When I view the network connections a lock icon has appeared and when I try
to repair the 1394 connection it says it can not because TCP/IP in not
enabled. The TCP/IP box is checked in the Properties window and TCP/IP
settings set to auto as they were before.

I have tried everything I can think of and am about to........ you know what
I mean!

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Robert

Thanks for the reply

Yes I disabled the XP firewall as well as Kerio but still have same problem
The problem is when I attempt to repair the connection it says it is unable
to do so as TCP/IP is not enabled but IT IS... I think!

Tried the link but could not open it...

So, it means your PCs are connected via FireWire cables because you wrote
1394 connection???
Is it the case ?
