Hi
my IBM laptop will no longer connect to our office network. I have tried all
the usual fixes but it will not recognize our wired network. I used it at a
wireless hot spot and have not been able to reconnect since. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Go into your Network properties and make sure the connection for the wired
NIC isn't disabled.

Control panel, network connections, right click the connection in question
and select enable if it is disabled.

Hi
Tried that, no luck. Any other suggestions? Do I have to remap my network
drive? Thanks

Next thing I would do is try a different network cable. You can't remap a
drive unless your connected to the network.
Also go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /all and post back the
results.
