Network connection not showing

Using XP Pro SP1 on 3 pc's on a LAN network on. All 3 pc's can be seen over
the network & network works OK.

However on 2 pc's the LAN and 1394 connections can be seen but on the 3rd
there are no connections visible even though both connections are there and
working.

This is now a problem as we need to edit settings on the LAN connection on
the 3rd pc.

What has caused this to happen & how can we make the connections visible

Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated
