Slow network connection

My PC is connected to a LAN. When I boot the PC, the connection works
normally. However, after about 15 minutes of use (or 15 minutes idle), the
speed of the connection suddenly drops. The connection is still there but so
slow that it becomes unusable. If I re-boot, the process is repeated. Other
PC's on the network are all working normally.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Check the computer for Malware to make sure that there is No unwanted
traffic clogging the connection.
This free utility can show you what is running through the TCP/IP stack.
