I have set up a network between my PC and my wifes in the
same room.
The install of each card went well and we are running
Windows XP Pro in one PC and Windows XP Home in mine.
The icon on both toolbars shows the two monitors with a
red X over them and this message:Local Area Connection 2
A network cable is unplugged.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Bill

If you are not connected through a hub or switch, you'll
need a cross-over cable.

If you haven't got a hub or a switch of somekind make
sure that the cable that you are using is a crosover
cable, because this is what you need if you have two
computers linked directly to each other.
