SINCE UPGRADING FROM WINDOW 98 TO WINDOWS XP, I AM UNABLE
TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. I USE ETHERNET CABLE
CONNECTION. I AM GETTING ERROR CODE 65 WHEN I DO NETWORK
DIAGNOSTICS. ROADRUNNER SUPPORT DESK THINKS IT IS A
FIREWALL PROBLEM. I HAD MCAFEE FIREWALL ON WINDOWS 98 BUT
UNINSTALLED ON WINDOWS XP TO SEE IF THIS WOULD SOLVE
PROBLEM, BUT IT DIDNT. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Are you using the ISP software? XP has PPPoE and you can make a connection
through the internet connection wizard, without all their junk. Did you
upgrade or clean install XP?
