Hi
From a Newbie Dumb-ass ???
I have just purchased a new system (XP SP2, 80 gig HD, 512MB RAM & gigabyte
256MB Video) & connect to the net via 56k modem.
The problem is, that to load a browser or download email, my system requires
the following (according to my ISP) command line input at the root
directory:
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
Can anyone assist, as the ISP is ****ing hopless & I am at a loss to
understand:
1) What does the command do,
2) Why do I have to type the same command everytime I want to establish a
"connection" to the Internet?, and
3) Is there anyway to fix the problem & NOT have to enter the above
command ALL the time?
TIA
