netsh command help..

Troy Bruder

Hello,

When I issue the following command:

"netsh firewall show logging"

It doesn't seem to return accurate settings? I have a policy that logs to
the C:\Windows\FW.log file dropped connections... And I see that it works
by editing the file...

According to the NETSH command, the log is disabled and has a different
name... Is this a bug within the command???

Thanks,
Troy

Hi,

I tried to run the netsh firewall show logging and I see the right settings
(enable; disable) either when I enable firewall or when I disable firewall.
There is not a bug , because I cannot reproduce this situation.
I have a Windows XP from MSDN . Do you hae a Windows Xp OEM license?
