We are running a workgroup of XP Pro machines (no domain
as of yet). I need to change the DNS servers on about 100
machines. I tried using the netsh utility but have
encountered a problem. Here is the dialog:
C:\>netsh -r pc108
[pc108] netsh>interface ip
[pc108] netsh interface ip>show dns
The following command was not found: show dns.
[pc108] netsh interface ip>
I have added an account on pc108 that uses duplicate
username/password as I am using on my local machine.
Does using netsh on a remote machine require
authentication from a PDC to allow full functionality?
Thanks,
Scott
